She is survived by: her children, Aaron Akin (Shauni) and Rachel Akin Suiter (Kurt); her grandchildren, Ayla, Jack and Noraa; her siblings, Danny Griffey (Sonya), David Griffey and Deborah DeCanto; and her nieces and nephews, Jerry Akins (Gina) and Elaine Byard (Gary).
