He is survived by: his wife Frances Jennings Darnell; his daughter Starr; his son-in-law Mike Rhodes; his grandchildren, Megan, Bradley Dingus, Mariah and Tristan Melton; and his great grandchildren, Jackson and Lindy Dingus. He is also survived by two step- granddaughters and six step-great grandchildren.
