He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, John (Julia), Bruce II (Judith) and Christa (Tim); his sisters, Judy, Debbie and Beth; his grandchildren, Arial, Brannon, Phoebe, Alexandra and Katerina; and his great grandchild Marco Bruce. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations to St. Jude, the Greeneville Humane Society the Washington County Animal Shelter, or the Greene County Guard in his name, will be appreciated.
