With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Gwynne (Afton, Tennessee), born in Greeneville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Gwynne and Frances Whitson. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Gwynne; his daughter Pamela Gwynne; his granddaughter Madison Gwynne; his sister Deanna Wilson; his sister-in-law Brenda Crock; his close friend Terry Anderson of Gwynne's Construction; and his friends, Joe Jones, Matt Lane, Brandon Richert, Ed Bown and Jerry Ingle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jeffers Funeral Home (101 Graceland Ln, Afton, TN 37616). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Greenelawn Memory Gardens (4159 Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
