With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Salyers of Afton, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Moran Edward and Emma Lou Graham Salyers; his sister Margaret Virginia Stiles (Billy); his parents-in-law, Richard Dawson Sr. and Elva Dawson; and his brother-in-law Terry Dawson.
He is survived by: his wife Reba; his children, Jamie (Tia) of Mosheim and Crystal Smith (Trevor) of Kingsport; his granddaughters, Ella and Hannah Smith; his brother John Salyers (Sharon) of Johnson City; and his in-laws, Junior Dawson (Tiny), Jane Dickerson (Johnny), Lloyd Dawson, Patty Smith (Jerry), Lowanda Dawson and Kathy Simcox (Gary). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
