She was predeceased by: her parents, Theiran Ayers and Elsie Ayers. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Tweed; her daughter Julie Carter (Wes); her stepson John Tweed (Kim); her grandchildren, Cameron Tweed (DJ Buff), Hannah Tweed Casteel (Justin), Morgan Tweed, Bryan Shelton (Caroline), Joey Tweed and Halle Tweed; her great grandchild Grayson Shelton; her sister Gail Ayers Cantini (Armin); her close friends, Dorothy Ottinger Peggy Neas and William Ball; her sister Jane Wooley; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Tweed.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jeffers Funeral Home (101 Graceland Ln, Afton, TN 37616). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenelawn Memory Gardens (4159 Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
