He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Shelton and Charity Shelton (Higgins); his siblings, Stella Keller, James Shelton (Bud) and Mildred Pickering Erwin; and his son Brian Waddell.
He is survived by: his caregiver Betty Shelton (Waddell); his son Ralph Myers (Amande); his grandsons, Cameron Myers (Ava Englehart) and Luke Myers; his daughter-in-law Marlene Waddell; and his nieces and nephews, Judy G'Fellers (Charlie), Karen Whitehead (Johnny), Roger Shelton (Janet), Mark Shelton, Jason Shelton (Michelle) and Warren Shelton. He is also survived by other nieces and great nephews.
