He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Louise Mitchell Dotson; his parents, Syrell Dotson and Gladys Dotson; his sister Lillian Gregg (Fred); his parents-in-law, Guy and Dora Mitchell; and his brothers-in-law, Willard, Bob and Ray Mitchell.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Beals (late Jack); his grandson Scottie Alfred Beals (late Chassity Beals); his great grandchild Joshua Scott Beals (Ryleigh Lamb); his sisters, Lena Fay Keene (late Mike) of Michigan, Sheila Hensley (late Billy Ray) and Velma (Mike Gregg); his sister-in-law Imogene Fletcher; and his close friends, Royce, Brenda Davis, Jerry, Barbara Estepp, Robert and Stella Joyner.
