She was predeceased by: her daughter Debbie Lawson; her siblings, Dorothy Carr and Billy Ray Cooter; her parents, Luther Cooter and Minnie Belle McCarter (Cooter); her grandparents, Melvin Douglas, Dollie Cooter, Haskell and Nellie Gunter; and her sons-in-law, Gary Beason and James "Corney" Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Deloris "DeeDee" Beason and Michael Richards (Crystal); her grandchildren, Angel Lawson, Misty Smith (Albert), Alex Miller, Rae Richards and Carrie Richards; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Marissa Ferguson, Lily Bishop, Willow Smith, Raena Richards, Billy and Abby Randall; and her siblings, Lester "Bud" Cooter (Betty), Clarence "Wade" Cooter (Dixie), Barbara Frasier, Imogene Hardy (Kevin) and Connie Mahan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Jeffers Funeral Home (101 Graceland Ln, Afton, TN 37616). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Graceland Memorial Gardens (101 Graceland Ln, Afton, TN 37616).
