With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Bruce Shell of Afton, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Tonya Robin Shell; his parents, J. T. Shell and Keasle Shell (Honey); and his grandparents, John Thomas, Leota Shell and Bruce Sluder.

He is survived by: his sisters, Brenda Jones of Wake Forest, NC and Debra Smith (Earle) of North Augusta, SC; his nephews, Jabies Collins (Tim) of Johnson City, TN and Ross Smith (Kristen) of North Augusta, SC; his niece Mallory Smith Barber of Charleston, SC; his great-nephew Grant Smith of North Augusta, SC; his great-niece Harper Smith of North Augusta, SC; and his caregivers, Eddie Parkins, Spencer Smith, Lynn Scott, Chuck Milligan, Chris Gray, Judy Willett and Amy Harrison. He is also survived by several cousins, special friends.
