Roy Maddox Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Maddox (Alamo, Tennessee), who passed away on November 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Roy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Roy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest Maddox and Margie Hollmon Maddox; and his siblings, James, William, Winford of Bufford, JC, Clennis, Dennis Maddox and Artiv Kelly.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Maddox; and his great-nephew Wesley Tucker (Laney). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
