She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Samples; and her son Steve Samples. She is survived by: her niece Anita Storey (Jim Storey). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens (3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701).
Donations can be made in her honor to the Blount County Animal Center, an organization she and her son were so passionate about.
