We bid farewell to Melba Swallows (Algood, Tennessee), born in Livingston, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 26, 2026 at the age of 83. Melba touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Rex Swallows; her parents, William Samuel and Nadine Ora Bowers (Ray); and her daughter Tammy Farrell. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brandy Bilbrey (Timothy), Brandon Wiley (Teresa), Brett Novicoff (Ambir) and Matthew Meixner; her great grandchildren, Ariel, Abbi, Autumn, Amelia, Josie, Ian, Atlas and Aria; and her caregiver Katie Lowran.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Poplar Springs Cemetery.
