He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Chrisman and Hattie Smith Chrisman; his wife Mildred Nadine Chrisman; his daughter Debra Gail Gentry; and his siblings, James, Elbert, Tom, Junior, Louise and Alice.

He is survived by: his sons, Gary Chrisman (Glenda) of Orange Park, FL and Tom Chrisman (Chris) of Gainesboro, TN; and his grandchildren, Lisa Stickney (Steve), Mathew Chrisman (Emily), Tara Stephens (Joey), Krystal Chrisman (Gary), Clara Chrisman and Candice Chrisman (Kyle). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (2131 S Grundy Quarles Hwy, Gainesboro, TN 38562). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
