He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Killian and Dora Ann Nunley Killian. He is survived by: his siblings, Edna Jean Turner, Stanley Earl Killian and Wanda Sue Partin (Quentin) of Pelham, Tennessee; and his close friend Bertha Whitman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I believe that Carl is my biological father. I was born in Cleveland, OH on January 24th, 1957 as John Michael Kralik. My biological mother is Joan (née Kralik) Lipscomb who gave me away for adoption at birth. She told me that Carl was my father. I contacted him several times after my adoptive parents passed but he never replied to any correspondence. I’m 68 now and was looking to reach out again but alas his time has passed.
