With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harriette Arlinda Gray (Altamont, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Guy Dickerson and Beatrice Graham Dickerson (Joe Gray); her daughter Jane Gray; and her brother Mike Dickerson. She is survived by: her children, Linda Gray Varnado (Douglas), Joseph Daniel Gray, Jr. (Dawn) and Scott (Nadi Gray); her grandchildren, Nicholas Varnado (Jessica), Jody Kimble, Katelin Varnado, Sara Murray (Frank), Leah Powers (Clay), Paul Gray, Landon Gray (Mandy), Christian Gray (Vanessa) and Elliott Gray; and her siblings, Barbara Claxton, Richard Dickerson and Jay Dickerson. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Layne Funeral Home (182 Fitchtown Rd, Altamont, TN 37301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
