She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Mechele Sowell Monk (Jody) and Teresa Kim Sowell Farris (John); her siblings, Audrey Hill, Delores Marty, Janice Tate and Danny Carlisle; and her grandchildren, Anthony Lee York, Brittany Michael Swoner Moss (Murphy), Jordan Taylor Rifkin, Matthew Tyler Monk (Zari), Brandon James Monk (Abbie), David Lee Damps (Jane) and Tanika Maria Damps Gatewood (Luke). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
