He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Leburn Odom and Gladys Lora Odom (Robinson); his wife Mary Odom (Anderson); his son Michael Dwayne Odom; and his siblings, Irene Keys (Odom), Janelle Reeder (Odom), Loyce Adkerson (Odom), Cornelia Stewart (Odom), Eugene Odom, Neal Odom, Kenneth Odom and Leonard Odom.
He is survived by: his son John Odom (Carla); his granddaughters, Lauren Rathe (Tyler) and Leigha Odom; and his sister Juanice Winchester (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
