He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Milton "Mitch" and Susie Lee Garner Bennett; his great grandchild Ruby Belle Mallory; and his son-in-law Billy Joe Emberton. He is survived by: his wife Faye Mealer Bennett; his children, Kathy Emberton, Lesa Craine (Brad), Darrell Bennett, Kristy and Traci Pope (Sammy); his siblings, Terry "Dugan" Reed (Linda), Ira Reed (Betty Jane), Jimmy Reed (Malia), Kenneth "Honeyman" Reed (Novella), Janice Reed and Darlene Spears (Jim); and his grandchildren, Cody Emberton, Shelby Emberton, Mandy Gainey (Chad), Cale Ferrell (Stephanie), Hana Craine, Wesley Bennett (Kelly), Jessica Kepley (Ryan), Johnna Mallory, Ricky Mallory (Shelby), Angel Mallory, Hank Mallory, Samuel Pope and Nathan Pope. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and other loving family members.
