He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Reed and Mabel Lucille Reed (Sanders); his stepson Jimmy Moffitt; his siblings, Jimmy Reed, Darthy Reed Denney and Helen Pace; and his grandson Corey Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jo Reed (Haley); his sons, Bryan Keith Reed (Crystal Erwin) and Larry Delano Reed, Jr. (Carol); his stepsons, David Allen Moffitt, Philip Girton (Jesi), Jimmy Gibson and Marty Gibson; his daughter Angela Elaine Smith; his stepdaughters, Lisa Girton and Tanya Girton; and his sister Peggy Tackett. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
