He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lewis Boland and Rose Marie Raduazzo; his wife Glenda Wages; and his siblings, Margaret Damiano, Barbara Lumsden, Edward "Speed" Boland, Paul Boland and Jean Thompson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jenny Boland (Michael White) of Brentwood and Susan Davenport (Steven Davenport) of Mt. Juliet; and his granddaughter Justine Boland (Erick Floyd) of Smyrna.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gilda's Club Middle Tennessee, which offers support to those affected by cancer.
