He is survived by: his wife Gail Locke D'Apolito; his children, Craig D'Apolito and Kimberly Willoughby (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Saviik Rasbury and Ti Willoughby; and his sister Barbara Furth (Seim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Disabled American Veterans or McGavock High School's Band Boosters.
