Though Josephine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Chance and Ollie Chance (Siler); and her brother Steve Chance. She is survived by: her children, Angie Parton (Scott) and Dewayne Poe; and her sisters, Paulette Green (David) and Vicky Goff (Doug). She is also survived by two grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nephews.
