She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alfred and Mary Louise Kimbrough Gilbert; her husband John Barnes; her siblings, Wayne, Jerry, Freddy Gilbert and Wanda Gilbert; and her son-in-law Curtis Summers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Summers of Ardmore, Tennessee. and Amanda Barnes Pardon (Donnie) of Ardmore, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Taylor Pardon of Ardmore, Tennessee. and Kenndall Summers of Ardmore, Tennessee.; and her great grandchildren, John Hollis and Oakley.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Old Scrouge Cemetery.
