She is survived by: her children, Anna "Chris" Carter Brown (Jim) and Jason Carter (Angie); her sister Shelia Mae Polk Holt; her stepsiblings, Priscilla Hood (Mark) and Ronnie Polk (Nell); her grandchildren, Carter McCord (Hailee), Jackson Carter, Caroline, Mary Elizabeth, Colby Fox and Adam Brown; her great grandchild Weslyn Morgan McCord; and her sister-in-law Francis Carter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Johnson Family Cemetery, in loving memory of Cherry Diane Polk Carter.
