He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wehenkel and Julia Wehenkel; his sister Lois Compton; and his in-laws, Hilbert and Maude Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Tenna; his children, Tallye Gass (Kevin) and Todd Wehenkel (Angie); and his grandchildren, Grace Gass-Johnson (Dallas), Jacob Gass, Cate Gass and Lincoln Wehenkel.
As he did in life, Artie continues to think of others and asked that in lieu of flowers, any memorials be given as donations in his memory to Shriners Hospital in Greenville, SC.
