With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Moore of Ashland City, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Moore; her parents, Benedict Harrington and Bessie Harrington; and her siblings, Teresa Faye Butler, Mary Ann Reese and Larry Harrington.
She is survived by: her children, Chuck Moore, Jerry Welck (Mary Smith), Tammy Smith (Kyle), Sandy Cherry (Chris) and Donna Miller (Bryan); her grandchildren, Brandon Smith (Samantha), Brett Smith, Logan Biggs (Karen), Laken King (Brandon Ruiz), Jacob Miller (Devon), Kelsy Duffel (Will), Tisha Welck (Coty Brown), David Campbell, Stephanie Agee, Jeremy Welck (Felicity Doyle), Matt Farless (Amy) and Gabrielle Smith; and her great grandchildren, Kaydence, Everleigh, Braxton, Weston, Pearl, Abigail, Brandon, Gunner, Aubrey, Autumn, Adalynn, Peyton, Colton, Elizabeth, Brooklyn and Ryan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221).
