She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Vaughn Langley and Velma Ellen Ross Langley; her children, Kenneth Eakes, Sr. and Judith Ann Eakes; and her siblings, Rodger Langley, Vincent Langley, Margie Hand and Elizabeth Lavender.
She is survived by: her daughter Christy Jones (Johnny); her sisters, Delana Sanders and Darlene Corderio; her grandchildren, Jenny Jones (Kendra), Lil Kenny Eakes (Danielle), Timothy Jones (Sandie), Todd Eakes (Lisa), Trenton Hayes (Jessica) and Brandon Eakes (Heather); and her great grandchildren, Julianna Eakes, Emersyn Eakes, Justin Eakes, Trace Eakes, Katelyn Eakes, Harper Hayes, Truitt Hayes, Carlie Jones, Chloe Jones, Kaedence Frey and Karlee Frey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
