He is survived by: his wife Doris Nickens (Dozier); his stepchildren, Randall Reed (Mary), Douglas Reed and Jackie Harris (Wayne); his brothers, Walter Nickens and Billy Nickens (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Sonny Reed, Jesica Reed, Erica Reed, Justin Harris (Camiren) and Hannah Lissner (Patrick); and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Jaxson, Ava, Austin, Brooke, Andrew, Maverick, Caroline and Dylan.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cheatham County Funeral Home (117 Elizabeth St, Ashland City, TN 37015). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
