He was predeceased by: his daughter Monica Lynn Parker. He is survived by: his wife Martha "Mot" Needham; his children, Shirley Gayle Allen (late Robert), Dennis Edward Needham (Maurica), Gregory Clay Needham (Joyce) and Lorie Anne Baker (Rich); and his son-in-law Steven Ross Parker (Phyllis). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laycock Hobbs Funeral Home (521 N Jackson St, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1727-1739 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
