It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Hicks of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hicks and Violet Watson Hicks; and his sister Betty Hickman. He is survived by: his wife Laura Graham Hicks; his children, Cheryl Haywood (Randy Parson) and Dennis Hicks; his grandchildren, Joshua Haywood, Christopher Haywood, Jessie Hicks and Jarrad Hicks; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Haywood, Chloe Schoellman, Emma Crawford, Madalynn Haywood, Cash Haywood and Charley Haywood. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
