He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Blackwell and Willie Blackwell; and his siblings, Barbara Harril, Peggy Curtis, Willie Blackwell, Patricia Blackwell and Linda Raper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Salena Avylon Rogers and Ashley Marie Pilkay; his siblings, Cynthia Blackwell Thompson, Joseph Bradley Blackwell and Sherry Price (Rick); his nephews, Ronnie Raper Jr. (Denise) and Sammy Jones (Elaine); his great-nephews, Nicholas and Dustin Raper; and his close friends, Daniel Bottoms and Jerry Barnett. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
