He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cooley and Marie Childs Cooley; his siblings, Johnny B. Cooley, Sylvia Rotiski and Sydney Jo Boland; and his sister-in-law Diane Cooley.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert David Cooley, Brian Timothy Cooley and Adam Joseph Cooley; his grandchildren, Cameron Cooley, Chayse Cooley and Lexi Cooley; his great grandchild Oaklee Cooley; his brothers, Carl Cooley and Tommy Cooley (Rhonda); and his sister-in-law Pam Cooley.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the South Liberty Baptist Church (505 Co Rd 655, Athens, TN 37303). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sweetwater Memorial Park (1838 HWY 11 N, SWEETWATER, TN 37874).
