He was predeceased by : his parents, Austin Rue and Pearl Rue; his wife Linda Rue (Nelson); and his siblings, Austin Rue Jr., Frances Rinehart, Viola Wilcox, Diana Wheaton and Danny Rue.
He is survived by : his children, Charles "Chuck" Rue (Jackie) and Carla Rue; his grandsons, Christopher Rue (Stephanie) and Gregory Rue; his sister-in-law Erma Rue; and his nieces and nephews, Billy Handy (Mandy), Steven Handy (Carmen), Francine Hicks (Jeff), Dana Evans, Debbie Johnson (Curtis) and Jeanne Rue. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.
