With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles Brown of Athens, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Miller Brown; his wife Linda Wilson Brown; and his sister Cecilia Jack. He is survived by: his children, Traci Hill (Louis) of Philadelphia, TN and Travis Brown of Riceville; his brother Gary Brown of Johnson City, TN; his mother-in-law Ruth Wilson of Riceville; his grandchildren, Lindsey Branam (Jason), Lauren Stett (John) and Bayli Farmer (Austin); his great grandchildren, Landon Maggard, Kelbi Maggard, Pike Branam, Parker Stett and Paisley Stett; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Lee (Jimmy) of Riceville and Donna Kettenbeil (Mark) of Ten Mile, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Service of Athens (1010 S White St, Athens, TN 37303). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1727-1739 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
