He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samuel and Hazel Elizabeth Parrish Prescott; his wife Shirley Elizabeth Adair Prescott; his children, Debra Dale Prescott McSpadden and Scott Alan Prescott; his sons-in-law, Steven Ross Powers and John McSpadden; his granddaughter Jennifer Jackson; and his sister Johnnie Lou Seaberg.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Higgins (Kenny) of Riceville and Tenn; his siblings, Jack Prescott of Ringgold and Diane Howard of Ft. Oglethorpe; and his grandchildren, Mandy Galyon, Holly Higgins Anthony, Zane Prescott and Chandler Prescott.
