As we bid adieu to Charles' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Charles has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Denver and Ruth Doty Simpson; and his brother Robert Simpson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (1010 S White St, Athens, TN 37303). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sweetwater Church of Christ (1309 New Hwy 68, Sweetwater, TN 37874).

The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the giver's choice.
