She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "Don" Richard Wilson; her parents, Sam Miller and Hester Blevins Miller; her son Robert Wilson; her granddaughter Danielle Mazza; her sisters, Clara Grubb, Lucille Cox, Margaret Miller, Sammy Melton and Jimmie Sue Jones; and her sons-in-law, Kenneth Hudson and Roger Peels.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Harris (Don), Sheila Hudson, Teresa Peels and William Scott Wilson (Elaine); and her grandchildren, Michelle Wilson, Amanda Wilcox (Peter), Branden Wilson (Danyell), Adam Harris (Heather), Michael Harris (Nicole), Melinda Hudson, Joshua Hudson and Jacob Peels. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ziegler Funeral Home (521 W Madison Ave, Athens, TN 37303-3490). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1727 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
