He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ethelbert and Grace Evelyn Sweet (Kesterson); and his brother Thomas Sweet. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Joyce Sweet; his children, Susan Sweet, Kellye Bennett (Jeff) and Bryan Sweet; his grandchildren, Anderson Evans (Heather), Blake Evans (Barbara), Justin Bennett (Morgan), Adam Bennett and Llana Childers (Domanick); his great grandchildren, Brody Evans, Beau Evans and Baby Bennett; his brother James Sweet (Linda); and his aunt Ruth Lackey.
