It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Theodore Peterson Sr. (Athens, Tennessee), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederick Dailey and Bettie Dailey; his son Curtis T. Peterson, Jr.; and his siblings, Estella Barnett and Frederick Dailey, Jr..

He is survived by : his wife Carol Kaliszewski Peterson of Athens; his daughter Kelly Ann Austin (Robert) of Englewood; his granddaughter Christa Good (Travis); and his brother Alonzo Dailey (Sheila) of North Carolina.
