He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Shelton; and his brother Marvin Shelton. He is survived by: his mother Mollie Goins (Tenn) of Athens; his brother David Shelton (Tenn) of Athens; and his close friend Joyce Jones. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
