He is survived by: his wife Alice Giles of Athens; his children, David A. Giles of Athens, Steve Giles (Stacey) of Rossville, Tim Giles (Lori) of Athens and Michelle Snyder Chattanooga (Dee); and his grandchildren, Alicia, Hannah, Cheryl, Carmen, Joseph, Josh, Savanna, Brianna, Ansley and Jacob. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
