Deborah leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Deborah’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Deborah will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross K. Torbett and Marie Torbett; and her brother Ronnie Torbett. She is survived by: her husband Larry Brown; her children, Hollie Brown (Steve Carroll) and Heath Brown (Ariel); her sisters, Barbara Hicks and Faye Pilkey (Gene); and her sister-in-law Janice Torbett. She is also survived by several extended family members, including numerous in-laws, as well as many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Companion Funeral and Cremation Service of Athens (400 S White St, Athens, TN 37303). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
