She was predeceased by: her grandmother Ella Mae; her parents, Rosa "Dunk" Lawrence and LJ Lawrence; her husband James "Ed"; her sons, Timothy "Timmy" Wilkerson, Chris, Ronnie, Marcus and Terrance "Wee-Wee" Smith; her siblings, Betty Bee V. Lawrence, Pauline "Polly" Roby, Minnie Simpson, William "Billy" and Jake Simpson, Jr.; her nephew Tommy Simpson; her niece Tammy Simpson; and her children-in-law, Carolyn Smith and Tony Moore.
She is survived by: her children, James Bueford "J. B.", David Smith and Nancy Moore; her grandchildren, Erica L. Smith, Jason Gold (Danielle), Victor Smith, Camille Moore, Jessica Favors (Jermaine), Gabriel Moore (Courtney), Nneka King and Gucci Smith; her great grandchildren, Kathryn "Kat" Favors, Alyssa Moore, Eric Brooks, Sir Isaac Davis and Ella "Toot" Gold; her brother Jimmy "Jimbo" Simpson; and her niece Betty Ann Nesmith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, & special friends.
