Eva Kimbro Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Kimbro of Athens, Tennessee, who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Carl and Mary Edna Cherry Gohagan; her husband Limon David Kimbro; her brother Carl Wayne Gohagan; her siblings-in-law, Jim Hausman, Terry Kimbro, Larry Rivenbark, Ruth Simmons, Wynette Blount and Glenda Kimbro; and her nephew Bobby Gene Stenett.

She is survived by: her children, Melanie LaMunyan (Bill) of Riceville, John Kimbro (Leah) of Katy, TX, Joe Kimbro (Devori) of Athens and Tony Oyola (Heidi); her grandsons, John David Kimbro and Jason Kimbro; her sisters, Billie Rivenbark and Gayle Hausman; her sister-in-law Joyce Gohagan; her sister Glenda; her brothers-in-law, Charlie Clark and Norman Simmons; and her close friend Gladys Ali.
