He is survived by: his wife Parthenia Sharp Hester; his son Randy Hester (Deidre); his grandchildren, Cody Sherlin and Abigail Satherlie; and his siblings, Jones Albert Hester and Dale Ann White (Terry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
