He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hicks Melton; his son David Sullivan; his daughter-in-law Penny Melton; his daughters, Teresa (Jeffrey Buchanan), Shannon Gibson and Courtney (Jon Abbott); his grandchildren, Amberly (Jordan Fox), Ashlyn (Jacob Schwartz), Kylie Buchanan (Sierra), Ryan Hickman (Talon), Natalie Gibson (Zaeleigh Abbott), Raylan Abbott (Tiffany Davis) and Andy (Kristen Bridgmon); his great grandchildren, Carley Davis, Maddie Davis, Olivia Bridgmon, Bryson Bridgmon, Liam Schwartz, Aria Schwartz, Maddie Hickman, Gracyn Hickman and Addison Hickman; his brother James; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Melton, Jessie Melton and Carlotta Melton.
