He is survived by: his children, Cecil Farris, Jeffrey Farris and Amanda Farris; his grandson Oliver Farris; his siblings, Bobby Farris (Kim), Cathy Stone (Olice), Lisa Crabtree (Tim), Sharon Russell and Tammy Upton (Darris); and his close friend Kenny Coburn.
