She was predeceased by : her parents, Jessie Teague and Lula Teague; and her children, Michael Cumbus and Teresa Henderson. She is survived by : her husband Bobby Cumbus of Athens; her son Thomas Allen Cumbus of Athens; her siblings, Ruth Carlton (Gaston) of Jacksonville, FL and Earnest Gray Bryan; and her cousins, Pat Fern and Ruth Teague. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ziegler Funeral Home (521 W Madison Ave, Athens, TN 37303-3490). A graveside service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the McMinn Memory Gardens (1727 Co Rd 560, Athens, TN 37303).
