She was predeceased by : her parents, Gus C. Roberts and Leola Brown Roberts; her husband Ralph F. Kuykendall; her son Terry F. Kuykendall; and her brothers, Owen "Curly" Roberts and Elton Roberts.

She is survived by : her daughter Christy Newman (Len); her grandsons, Nelson of Norfolk, VA. and Griffin Newman of Fairhope, AL; and her sister Marcia R. Whaley (Rex) of Greeneville, TN.. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
